Can ÇAPAK was born on March 3, 1985, in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Thanks to his family owning a billiards club, he started playing billiards out of curiosity at the age of 8. While his peers were riding bikes and playing ball, he was always playing billiards in his free time.
At the age of 11, he drew a lot of attention by making it to the top 16 in his first tournament, the Istanbul Championship, and thus began his journey in billiards. Of course, back then, billiard halls were not as refined as they are today. Despite all the adverse conditions, Can ÇAPAK never gave up playing billiards. Over time, he began to play billiards more professionally and participated in tournaments.
For a while, due to his university life and negative processes experienced in the billiards federation, he took a break from his billiards career. In 2015, with the new management of the billiards federation, he resumed his billiards career by setting a Turkish Record and becoming the Turkish Champion.
After making it to the list of the best in billiards, he participated in all billiard tournaments and added new achievements to his record every day. He achieved not only on a national scale in Turkey but also marked many successes across Europe.
After becoming the 2022 World National Teams Champion, he transferred to the Korean Professional Billiards League (PBA) within the same year.
He continues to represent our country in his billiards career.
